The Past Few Days
Bill writes: The past few days since we've returned have been particularly lazy. Yesterday, we mailed off a couple of packages to the U.S., then went to a cafe for coffee and to read. From there, we took a double-decker to Hyde Park, where we sat on a bench and read. Then, we got up and walked over to the end of the Serpentine, where we sat on an entirely different bench. And read. By then, it was getting too dark to read, so we walked over to Wagamama's for Japanese noodles and lots of sake. After dinner, we strolled down past Harrods:

And stopped into a cafe, and had more coffee, and read some more. Today wasn't much different, except that our errand was to go to the Marylebone Library and check out two large sacks' worth of books, CDs, and audio books. And instead of sitting in Hyde Park, we rented deckchairs and sat in Regent's Park. And instead of drinking coffee, we drank peppermint tea. This is pretty much what our view of London has looked like for the past two days:
